TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF BUS TERMINAL DUE TO SECURITY ALERT

The Transport Board wishes to advise the travelling public that the Granville Williams Bus

Terminal had been temporarily closed by the Barbados Police Service following a reported bomb

threat.

The closure was a precautionary measure to facilitate investigations by the relevant authorities

and to ensure the safety of commuters, employees and members of the public. As a result, bus

services operating from the affected terminal may experience delays or temporary adjustments.

The Transport Board cooperated fully with the Barbados Police Service and can advise that

normal operations has resumed after clearance was given by the relevant authorities.

The safety and well-being of our passengers, employees and the general public remain our

highest priority.

The Board sincerely apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks commuters for their

patience, understanding and cooperation during this period.
