More Than 54,000 Bajans Are Learning with NTI-Coursera

More than 54,000 Barbadians have accessed learning through NTI-Coursera, recording over 530,000 hours of learning since the partnership began in 2021.

Through the National Transformation Initiative's partnership with Coursera, Barbadians have access to more than 27,000 online courses covering everything from interpersonal skills to AI, across fields such as technology, health, sport, Arts, entrepreneurship, data, finance, project management, agriculture and agribusiness, climate change, green energy, personal development and more.

Learners can study at their own pace, with courses from leading universities and Fortune 500 companies around the world, including Yale, Princeton, Stanford, the University of Michigan, Google, IBM, Microsoft and Meta, and earn a certificate from the institution offering the course upon completion.

Government invests millions in this partnership to provide unlimited free access to NTI-Coursera for all Barbadians, as NTI continues to encourage a mindset of continuous learning, helping people remain ready for new opportunities, adapt to change and continue building the skills needed to grow.
